• Day 1 : WELCOME TO KATHMANDU, NEPAL

  This is the first day of your Nepal Package Tour From India. With an warm traditional welcome you will be greeted at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu [KTM]. Later you will be shifted to your pre-booked hotel. There with welcome drink you will be briefed for your next 8 Days Nepal Tour. Enjoy your lunch and relax. Rest of the day is free for your leisure. Spend the evening as you like. Roam about Kathmandu city, have some shopping in Thamel, taste local Nepali street food, stroll at Indra Chowk, you can also try singing bowl therapy in Kathmandu, go for night party at Prive Nepal etc. Enjoy lip smacking dinner and get ready for next day exploration

• Day 2 : KATHMANDU SIGHTSEEING AND DRIVE TO NAGARKOT [1 HR 2 MIN (27.8 KM) VIA NAGARKOT ROAD]

  Post Breakfast in the early morning, and then start for Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour :
  
  Pashupatinath Temple - The Pashupatinath Temple, in Kathmandu, is the most famous and holy temple for Hindus in Nepal and a must visit place during Nepal Tour from India. Located on the bank of Bagmati River in the eastern part of Kathmandu Valley, this is the home of Lord Pashupatinath - Lord Shiva. The Pashupatinath temple complex declared as the UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979.
  
  The Pashupatinath Temple Complex consists of 518 temples and monuments, out of these, the main temple are of Nepalese Pagoda style architecture. The main Garbhagriha, the innermost part of the temple, where the main idol placed. The main idol is stone Mukhalinga, has four faces in four directions. The temple has two courtyards, inner and outer. The inner courtyard is generally open from 5 am to 7 pm, and the innermost part of Pashupatinath temple, where Lord Pashupatinath placed, open from 5 am to 12 noon for ritual and viewing. In the evening, it is open from 4 pm to 7 pm for the ritual part. The Hindus from South Asia can enter into the inner courtyard, and Indian Jain and Sikh community devotees can also enter into the inner courtyard.

  Boudhanath Stupa - Boudhanath Stupa is situated around 11 kilometers from the city center of Kathmandu and is of gigantic spherical shape. It is one of the major tourist attractions of Kathmandu. It is a common belief that the people who used to circumambulate the stupa with no ill thoughts in their hearts receive good karma. In 1979, this Boudha Stupa was declared as the UNESCO World Heritage Site. The colorful flags around the stupa enhance the beauty of the stupa. You can also do some local authentic items shopping from here at a very bargain price.

  Patan Darbar Square - Patan Darbar Square is located at the Lalitpur City, around 25 km from Kathmandu. The main attraction of this place, where Malla King of Lalitpur resided. It is also the UNESCO World Heritage Site. This Patan Darbar Square is a perfect example of Newar architecture. The complex comprises of several temples and idols and houses with the Newar Architecture around the places.

  Bhaktapur Ancient City - Bhaktapur ancient City is located around 30 Kms from the Kathmandu city, and once you get into it, you will experience the old touch and tradition of Newar Kingdom of Kathmandu valley. This city has a large central courtyard and masks dance performed here often. It is the home to art, craft, and architecture of ancient Nepal. It is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
  
  And now proceed to Nagarkot, A calm, quiet and serene destination on a hilltop, around 45 km from Kathmandu city located in Bhaktapur district of Nepal. Through the year, it offers a cold ambiance and the panoramic view of few famous snowy mountain peaks like Mt. Everest and Mount Lhotse. The Sunrise from the sunrise point of Nagarkot will give you the most unforgettable experience. Overnight in Nagarkot.

   

• Day 3 : DRIVE FROM NAGARKOT TO POKHARA [6 HR 2 MIN (224.7 KM) VIA PRITHVI HWY]

  Wake up early morning to witness the beautiful sunrise view of Himalaya. Post Breakfast, drive for Pokhara Tour Package, a Perfect combo of adventure tourism and scenic beauty. Situated at a distance of 200 kilometers from national capital Kathmandu, Pokhara is a stunning valley that offers marvelous glimpses of snow-capped mountain ranges. • Day 4 : POKHARA SIGHTSEEING TOUR

  Wake up very early at 3 am and get ready for :
  
  Sarangkot Tour - Want to witness Mount Annapurna Fishtail peaks during Sunrise and want to be a part of your one of the most spectacular views in your life during Nepal Tour? Then get ready at 3:00-3:30 am and start from Pokhra towards Sarangkot. Sarangkot is around 25 Kms from Pokhra and is a small village famous for its sunrise and paragliding activities.

  Fewa Lake - Phewa Lake or Fewa Lake is the major attraction of Pokhara Valley, located in the south of Pokhara city. It is a freshwater lake of area size of area 4.43 sq km. The Annapurna mountain range is only 28 km from the lake, and it's an unforgettable experience to witness the shadow of Mount Annapurna snow peak in the lake water. You can expect a mesmerizing view of mountain Annapurna from the lake during the wintertime when the sky is generally clear. Boating in the Fewa Lake with your family and near & dear ones is an everlasting memory in your life. You can also do a Puja (Worship) of Hindu god Vishnu at the Tal Barahi Temple located at the center of the lake. You can also get the thrilling experience when you put yourself in a big ball and the balls rolling into the water.

  Tal Barahi Temple - Tal Barahi Temple is located in the middle of Phewa Lake, in a small island within the lake. The devotees usually visit the temple on Saturday. The temple is for Hindu Goddess Devi Durga. You may request your boatman in Phewa Lake to take you to Tal Barahi Temple, and they will be happy to do that.
  
  Devis Fall - The Devis waterfall starts from Pardi Khola Stream, which eventually vanishes in the underground. After the rainy season, the sound of water plunging over the falls is deafening. According to locals, one Swedish visitor along with his girlfriend named as Devis, who jumped into the sinkhole and drowned away and since then it is called as Devis Waterfall.
  
  Gupteswar Mahadev Cave - Gupteswar Mahadev cave is at the downstream of Devi's waterfall, and the cave is gigantic, you can discover Gupteswar or Shiva Lingam at the end of the cave. You need to go downstairs through several staircases, and you need to climb up while completing the Darshan of Shiva Lingam. Though in this cave, enough lighting is provided, but still better to carry your torchlight.

  Peace Pagoda - Pokhara Shanti Stupa or Peace Pagoda is a Buddhist pagoda-style monument located in the Anadu Hills of Pokhra valley and situated around 3600 ft above the sea level. It offers a mesmerizing view of Fewa Lake, Pokhra Valley, and Mount Annapurna Fish Tail peaks. From the car parking place, you need to climb around 250 staircases to reach the stupa level, and once you reach the top, the view from the top will give you an unforgettable experience in your life. From this hilltop, you will get a splendid view of Mt. Annapurna and Phewa Lake during Sunrise and Sunset.

  Mountaineering Museum - The Pokhra Mountaineering Museum is must visit place for the tourists who visit Pokhra. It is a unique museum, which tells you all the rich history of Mountaineering activities and climbing in Nepal. The museum is full of artifacts and accessories used in the famous mountaineering and climbing and the history of great climbers like Sir Tenzin Norgay and Mr. Herzog. Overnight in Pokhara.

• Day 5 : POKHARA SIGHTSEEING AND TRANSFER TO CHITWAN [3 HR 42 MIN (149.7 KM) VIA PRITHVI HWY]

  Post Breakfast, visit a few Pokhara Sightseeing -
  
  Bindubasini Temple - One of the most famous Hindu temples of Goddess Bhagawati in Western Nepal. It is one of the Shaktipiths in Nepal, and rituals performed as per strict Hindu culture. Nepalese Weeding is very common in this temple, and if you are lucky, you can witness the Nepalese Hindu marriage very closely.
  
  Begnas Lake - A freshwater lake, 2nd large in the Pokhra Valley located around 20 km from the Pokhra City on the way to Kathmandu after taking a little diversion from the Pokhra – Kathmandu main highway. Since it is a less-visited lake compared to the main attraction Phewa Lake, its natural beauty and serene ambiance is still protected. You can enjoy the boat ride here in Bengas lake also, even if you are interested in swimming, you can do it here. This lake is home to a large number of varieties fishes and lots of fisheries are around the Begnas village. There are also few accommodations available overlooking the lakes and snowy Himalayan peaks and then proceed to Chitwan National Park via MungliBazar.

  Chitwan National Park - located in the South West of Nepal, spreading an area of 175 sq km and inhabitant of endangered One-horn Rhino, Royal Bengal Tigers, Gharial Crocodile, and wild elephants. Apart from these animals, you can find 68 species of mammals, 544 species of birds, and many species of flora and fauna and fishes, Declared as UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1984 due to its wild biodiversity in the region. The park contains one Ramsar site, Beeshazari Tal (Lake) in its buffer zone.
  
  The evening is free, and you can enjoy the local Tharu cultural program in your Chitwan National Park Tour. Overnight in Chitwan National Park.

• Day 6 : CHITWAN SAFARI ACTIVITIES

  Canoeing in Rapti river - You can see two types of rare species of crocodile, the marsh mugger and the fish-eating Gharial. Bird Watching, Jungle Walk, Elephant Breeding Center Visit. Come back to Hotel for Lunch. Post Lunch you can do either -
  Elephant Safari in Chitwan National Park
  Jeep Safari in Chitwan. Overnight stay at Hotel / Resort in Chitwan National Park.

• Day 7 : DRIVE FROM CHITWAN TO KATHMANDU [5 HR (175.8 KM) VIA PRITHVI HWY]

  Wake up call followed by tea/coffee and breakfast & drive back to Kathmandu (186 KM/ 5 hours). Arrive Kathmandu and you can explore :
  
  Swayambhunath Temple - Swayambhunath, a must-see tourist attraction in Kathmandu is located in the heart of the city, on a top of a hill and it is a glorious ancient religious architecture. It is a holy place for both Hindu and Buddhists. The complex is comprised of main stupa, temples, many shrines and surrounded by lots of trees. You can find the eyes and eyebrows of Budhha in the local painting style.

  Thamel - The most popular shopping destination in Kathmandu Trip. It has numerous shops selling from Nepalese Gems and Jewelry, Woolen Jackets/Shoes, Nepalese Arts and crafts and almost everything. However, it is a bargain market and be cautious about duplicate copies of products of reputed brands. Overnight at Hotel in Kathmandu.

• Day 8 : DEPARTURE FROM KATHMANDU

  Breakfast and Check out from the hotel and proceed towards the Airport. Your Nepal Tour Package ends with sweet memory.
